Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worked great - 5 or 6 times..... I bought this for use when camping and was pleased at first. After a handful of uses the it started to hold less and less of a charge. Now, just after the warranty is over, a charge lasts maybe 2 hours, and that's if it is TURNED OFF the whole time. Granted it's a $20 speaker but should last longer than that. My recommendation is to buy another product from another company.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Make shower time fun :) I leave my phone on charge and connect it to the speaker. Occasionally it jumps, but more so than not it works. It's easy to use but no instructions to start with so it's a guessing game initially. * you turn it on, go on tour blue tooth and connect to it, it's under hang up on the Bluetooth name. I'd recommend it. It's quite loud, especially in a small bathroom with acoustics. It's water proof too. Big yes!

This was really disappointing and I can’t believe that it didn’t work. After reading a number of reviews, I realised that this was a problem that many other buyers had also experienced - they too received this JAM speaker and it wouldn’t turn in. It seems that there is an issue with the production. Please avoid these speakers!!

The speaker wouldn’t turn on, Shows charging indication for hours and then goes away. Still doesn’t turn on or give any response. Can something be done to fix it?

how do you know if is charging?

Thank you for your question. When the LED flashes red, it indicates that the battery is low and it’s time to plug in and recharge. Charge for about 2 hours to get up to 8 hours of play time; while charging, the light will stay solid red. Once fully charged, the light will turn off.

I use the speaker to play audiobooks for my kids for all asleep. But there noises the speaker makes when the book is done have repeatedly given them nightmares. How can I turn off those noises? I’ll return it if there’s no solution.

Just received this speaker as a 5 year gift from work. Charged it up and it 'WILL NOT' turn on. No matter what I do, it will not turn on. Also, had to google how to turn it on. Instructions in box very unclear.

The Jam Hang Up speaker worked fine at first, now when I turn it on, it works for a few seconds, then beeps and shuts off.  It is fully charged.

I have a Samsung Android device I'm trying to connect to a Jam Hang Up speaker. I've installed the Jam WiFi app and switched on the speaker but my device is not picking up the Jam Voice WiFi to be able to connect. What can I do to resolve?

Thank you for your question. The Jam Wifi app is only used for our Wifi speakers. The Jam Hang Up is not a Wifi speaker, that is why it won't connect.

I read where it turns off if not used in 2 minutes. To clarify, if I'm using during a shower, must I touch something every two minutes to keep it going?

Thank you for your question. As long as it's connected and playing music from your Bluetooth device, it will stay on. If its connected but not playing any music from your Bluetooth device, it will power off after 2 minutes due to inactivity.

how to i pair with echo dot

Thank you for your question. When you take the earbuds out of their case, they will automatically sync to each other, and the LEDs will turn solid blue for 5 seconds. Your earbuds will then go into pairing mode and begin searching for a Bluetooth device, and the LEDs will quick-flash blue. Enable Bluetooth on your device (The Amazon App). From the Bluetooth menu, select “Jam Ultra.” When the device and Ultra are connected, you will hear a tone. This means pairing is complete.

The vertical line between the O and X is the power button. Hold that in for a few seconds and you should be set!

JAM? Digital marketing team - you guys seriously ignoring this question for a month? You all must be doing well for this uneven xecution to not be fostering morale problems. Answer: All signs point to NO. Bummer. I highly recommend the smallest cheapest (~$40) speakers in the Sony lineup. They have by far th best (LDAC) solution to the massive bandwidth chokehold once you go to BT, plus so far as commercial physical DACs - where the rubber hits the road, and digital 100101011s are converted into what you hear, unlike (I am confident) JAM and almost every brand in the market, not restricted to the 2-3 cheap cheap cheap choices you are forced to go to for scale, ready-to-go availability, and competitiveness. But what strikes you when they pair is the surround effect. I can place them 20 feet apart and yet they cohere the sound whatever genre and it is awesome. I use them over the middle tier option and the high end option. When it comes to fun and music, its all about volume - and for me now, feeling immersed via surround. BUT, appkes and oranges. JAMs are no brainer stocking stuffers: These JAMs are no brainer cheerful beach and shower ready. Stereo would prob just make me take hour showers. Standout design marked by clever details, a playful yet classy “Scandinavian” sensibility, and a useability and charm that the Japanese CE companies cant seem to hit. The Sonies and like remain the audiophile master innovators - no need fir them to check the rearview mirror - too bad they cant market ir even just publish a boring white ppaper at least explaining. Many factors - like with cellphones - mean theyll experince the future before us, but if VFM companies like JAM exist, who dont exist to sell industry llaughing stock garbage for $300 (that part is industry jaw dropping asmirarion), or mine our PII, we consumers win. And they deserve to be rewarded. My 2 cents. @AskLegalLabs

Unwrap the integrated charging cable and plug the micro USB end into the charging port on the speaker.Connect the larger USB plug to your computer or a powered USB AC adapter. An AC adapter is not included in the box, but you can use the one for your cell phone or pick one up next time you’re at the store.When the LED flashes red, it indicates that the battery is low and it’s time to plug in and recharge.
